Members of the Presidential Advisory Council, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani and Sidarto Danusubroto attended the Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of PDI Perjuangan at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. In his remarks, President Joko Widodo conveyed about efforts to build an integrated industrial ecosystem to increase the added value of Indonesia’s resources for the future.
The President believes that this effort to downstream the industry will be a great leap for the civilization of the nation and the state. The President also reminded that currently 16 countries have entered as IMF “patients”. Therefore, Indonesia needs to be cautious in taking the right anticipatory steps, but still have optimism that Indonesia can get through this difficult time well collectively and together.
Also attending the event were Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, Chairperson of PDI Perjuangan Megawati Soekarnoputri, Speaker of the House of Representatives Puan Maharani, and Ministers of the Indonesia Maju Cabinet.
