The Government of The Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of Turkey Officially Signed Three Memorandums of Understanding (MoU)

On April 10, 2025, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of Turkey officially signed three memorandums of understanding (MoU) as a form of strengthening bilateral cooperation. The signing was carried out at the Turkish Presidential Palace, witnessed directly by President Prabowo Subianto and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The three cooperation documents signed and exchanged in the presence of the two heads of state include:

Memorandum of Understanding between the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) of the Republic of Indonesia and the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in the field of disaster management and emergency;
Memorandum of Understanding between the Presidential Communications Office of the Republic of Indonesia and the Presidential Communications Directorate of the Republic of Turkey on cooperation in the fields of media, public relations, and communication; and Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on Cultural Cooperation.

The signing and exchange of the MoU reflects the increasingly close partnership between Indonesia and Turkey, while opening up concrete opportunities for long-term, mutually beneficial collaboration. This state visit is also an important milestone in Indonesia-Turkey diplomatic relations, and a symbol of the closeness between the two countries.
