On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, Gandi Sulistiyanto, a Member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres), accompanied President Joko Widodo on a series of domestic working visits to the Capital of the Archipelago State (IKN) to mark the groundbreaking of Phase II of the IKN Area. This groundbreaking signifies the beginning of the construction of office buildings and other facilities in IKN. Some of the facilities being built include the Logistic Hub of Pos Indonesia, the National Mosque, the Office Building of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN), the Memorial Park, and the Jambu Luwuk Archipelago Hotel. President Joko Widodo and the entourage also had the opportunity to inspect Construction Worker Housing (HPK) as well as the Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Broadcasting Studio. Afterward, President Joko Widodo’s entourage continued with the groundbreaking of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) Building, the Location of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Training Camp (TC), the Archipelago Excellence Center (SUN) HUB, and the Nusantara Warehouse Park. Accompanying the working visit were Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), Erick Thohir, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Agus Subiyanto, Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), and Hadi Tjahjanto, Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR/BPN).
