Member of the Presidential Advisory Council of The Republic of Indonesia, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, received an audience from the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Wantimpres office. Putri appreciates and supports APJII’s efforts to accelerate connectivity and inclusive internet utilization across Indonesia, including in underserved, frontier, and remote areas, in achieving sustainable digital transformation.
In this increasingly dominant era of digital transformation, internet access serves as the primary foundation for economic growth, information dissemination, and global connectivity. According to APJII’s survey results, internet users in Indonesia reached 215.6 million users (78.19%) in 2023, a significant increase from 171.2 users (64.80%) in 2018. Collaboration among Academics, Business Players, and Government (ABG) is needed to expedite the development of an ecosystem ushering in the digital technology era towards Indonesia Emas 2045.
