Wiranto, Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres), received an audience
with the Maritim Muda Nusantara, which is a youth organization in the maritime sector at the
national level, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Wantimpres Office. Accompanied by Begi
Hersutanto, Secretary to the Chairperson of the Wantimpres, and M. Arfan Sahib Sali.K., Head
of the Data and Information Bureau, along with officials and employees of the Wantimpres
Secretariat, the meeting conveyed the Maritim Muda Nusantara flagship program, namely the 1
(one) million youth movement to raise maritime Indonesia Raya, as an effort to awaken the
potential and active role of youth in the maritime field, which is expected to collaborate with the
government so that Indonesia is able to become the world’s maritime axis. Wiranto also
expressed his appreciation to young people, especially Maritim Muda Nusantara, for their
enthusiasm and innovation in applying their knowledge to these real-life activities.
