Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, attended and gave remarks at
the peak night of the Puteri Indonesia 2023 Grand Final, Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Plenary Hall,
Jakarta Convention Center.
In her remarks, Putri, who is also the Chairperson of the Advisory Board of the Puteri Indonesia
Foundation, said that the Putri Indonesia Selection event aims to produce superior human resources
who not only have brain, beauty, and behavior that are constantly honed but also have the attitude and
ability to choose the right and the best when faced with difficult choices (be right).
This time, the 26th Puteri Indonesia Election carries Lampung culture as the main theme. This event is
expected to contribute to the advancement of Indonesia’s tourism and creative industries, especially in
the province of Lampung. Unlike other events, the Miss Indonesia Election participates in supporting the
realization of Indonesia Gold 2045 in building superior human resources, especially women, to take
advantage of the demographic bonus in collaboration with several public and private universities,
providing scholarships not only to the winners but also to all participants for undergraduate program
options, S2 or S3.
On this occasion, Putri also had the opportunity to give the final question to the finalists in the big three
stages of the election. The peak night event also presented several figures as members of the jury,
including the Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection, I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati;
Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Tourism and Creative
Economy, Triawan Munaf; Director of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk, Kusuma Ida Anjani; Puteri Indonesia 2020,
R.R. Ayu Maulida Putri; and Puteri Indonesia DIY 2022, Erina Gudono. Also present at this activity was
Member of the Presidential Advisory Council Sidarto Danusubroto.
In this peak night, Farhana Nariswari Wisandana from West Java province was chosen as the winner of
Puteri Indonesia 2023, while in the runner-up position I, who holds the title of Miss Indonesia for the
Environment, was won by Yasinta Aurellia from East Java, and runner-up II, with the title of Puteri
Indonesia Environment, was won by a finalist from Lampung, Lulu Zaharani Krisna. The three winners of
the Puteri Indonesia Election will later have the opportunity to carry Indonesia’s name on the
international stage, Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Charm.
