Lulu Zaharani Krisna, to meet Indonesian President Joko Widodo at the Palace Merdeka
Jakarta on Monday, May 22, 2023.
On this occasion, the President had the opportunity to explain various developments, including
the plan to move the capital to Nusantara, East Kalimantan. The new capital will be the capital
of the future, which is environmentally friendly, supported by 70% green space, with the majority
of public transportation using electricity, and integrated urban planning.
In addition, the President stressed the importance of the role of the younger generation in
making the most of the demographic bonus by being careful and smart, so that Indonesia Emas
2045 can be achieved and not stuck forever in the middle income trap. For this reason,
intelligent leadership is needed to read opportunities and consistently continue the correct policy
direction. Also attending the meeting were the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy,
Sandiaga Uno, and the Minister of State Secretary, Pratikno.
