Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, paid a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Surakarta, on Sunday, December 11, 2022. During her visit, Putri had the opportunity to tour the mosque building, accompanied directly by the architect and contractor of the mosque. The architectural style of the mosque building is directly directed by the UAE, so that a design that is consistent with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, UAE, can be created. However, the mosque building also adopts elements of Indonesian culture, especially in Solo, Central Java, illustrating the close friendship between the UAE and Indonesia. Mosques that are not only intended for worship can also be used for recitation activities and religious tourism. The mosque building, which has an area of about 8000 square meters, is able to accommodate around 6000 worshippers, and when coupled with the capacity of the lobby in the main room, it can accommodate up to 10,000 worshippers.
