Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, attended the discussion activity “Urun Rembug Komunitas Kebaya,” organized by the HKN National Team, on November 29, 2022, at the CM Building, Matraman, Jakarta. This activity is a follow-up to efforts to support the nomination of Kebaya as intangible cultural heritage (WBTB) to UNESCO, as well as unifying attitudes and discussing several strategy options related to the nomination of Kebaya to UNESCO. Present in this activity were Penny Dewi Herasati, Director of Socio-Cultural and International Organizations of Developing Countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and various Kebaya communities in Indonesia. Also present online at this meeting were Ismunandar, Deputy Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Indonesia to UNESCO; Irini Dewi Wanti, Director of Cultural Development and Utilization of the Ministry of Education and Culture; and the heir to kebaya labuh and kebaya kerancang in Indonesia.
