Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani attended the launch and discussion of Buya Syafii Maarif’s thoughts book organized by the MAARIF Institute in collaboration with the Indonesian Movement for All (Pergerakan Indonesia Untuk Semua/PIS) on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Bentara Budaya, Jakarta. Buya Syafii Maarif’s thought books launched are entitled, “Bulir bulir Refleksi Sang Mujahid” (Kompas, 2022), “Indonesia Jelang Satu Abad, Refleksi tentang Keumatan, Kebangsaan, dan Kemanusiaan” (Mizan, 2022), and ” Al-Quran Untuk Tuhan Atau Untuk Manusia?” (Suara Muhammadiyah, 2022). The three books are a collection of Buya Syafii Maarif’s critical thoughts in photographing issues of Islam, nationality, humanity, diversity, and social justice during his lifetime. On that occasion, MAARIF Institute in collaboration with PIS also announced the winners of the short video and article writing competition as well as the symbolic presentation of prizes in memory of Buya Syafii Maarif.
