Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani attended the Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2022 which was opened by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia K.H. Ma’ruf Amin, on October 20, 2022 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD, Tangerang. JMFW’s activities initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Trade in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) are part of efforts to realize Indonesia as the world’s Muslim fashion center in 2024. In addition, it is also the government’s commitment to encourage Indonesian Muslim fashion brands to penetrate the world market. Currently, the domestic Muslim fashion industry is increasingly attracting worldwide attention, where in 2021 it grew by 18.2 percent with total consumption reaching Rp 300 trillion. JMFW’s series of activities consists of fashion shows, trade shows, and talk shows, which feature around 100 fashion brands with more than 1000 collections, the majority of which are MSME products. In addition, JMFW also promotes various domestic fashion supporting products, such as textiles, accessories, cosmetics, and others.
