Representing Habib Luthfi, Hasbullah H. Ahmad, Secretary of Wantimpres Member attended the Merah Putih Carnival which is a series of Kanzus Sholawat Activities in commemoration of the Maulid of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Merah Putih Carnival which also coincides with the Youth Pledge Day held on Friday (28/10) starting from Masin, Warungasem, Batang and ending at the Pekalongan City Square Hall. Merah Putih Carnival was followed by various elements including Banser, Polri, Scouts, Religious and Community Organizations. Also present were the Mayor of Pekalongan along with Forkopimda, Religious and Community Leaders.
Salahudin, the Deputy Mayor of Pekalongan acted as the Inspector of Ceremonies while symbolically receiving Merah Putih Carnival from the carnival leader. Merah Putih Carnival aims to foster a sense of nationalism, where in the Merah Putih flag there are 3 spirits in it, namely honor, self-esteem and identity of the Indonesia.
