H.R. Agung Laksono, Wantimpres Member accompanied by Wantimpres Member Secretary Ganjar Razuni held a Limited Meeting session I with the theme “Security Defense Policy Strategy for the Riau Islands Border Area” on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Wantimpres Office. Present as speakers were Bahaduri Wijayanta, Director of Enforcement and Investigation representing the Director General of Customs, Ministry of Finance, First Admiral of the TNI Kemas M. Ikhwan Madani, Commander of Lantamal IV Tanjung Pinang, and Kombes Pol. Rustam Mansur, Head of Sub-Directorate of Law Enforcement Ditpolair representing Dirpolair Korpolairud Baharkam POLRI.
This meeting discussed the condition of sovereignty, defense and security, as well as law enforcement in the territorial waters of Riau Islands Province as the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, which is mostly directly adjacent to several ASEAN countries.
