The Data and Information Bureau of the Wantimpres Secretariat held a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) with the theme “Realizing Indonesian Food Security and Self-reliance” which was held online Tuesday, August 2, 2022. This coordination meeting discussed the achievements of Indonesia’s food security and self-reliance, especially rice, soybeans and sugar, including the challenges, projections, policies, and strategies to achieve food self-sufficiency. This activity was led by Mr. Jan Prince Permata, Secretary of the Wantimpres Member Mr. Soekarwo.
Present as a resource person from the Ministry of Agriculture, namely Moh. Ismail Wahab, Director of Cereals, Yuris Tiyanto, Director of Various Nuts and Tubers, Ardi Praptono, Director of Seasonal Crops and Spices. Also attending the meeting were the Head of the Data and Information Bureau, Middle and Young Policy Analysts from the Data and Information Bureau of the Wantimpres Secretariat.
