Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, attended the Syafii Maarif Memorial Lecture with the topic “Remembering Buya Syafii Maarif: Humanitarian Teacher Keeping the Diversity Stage’ at the Salihara Art Center, Jakarta. This activity was organized by the Maarif Institute and the Indonesian Movement for All (PIS) and supported by the Salihara Community and the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP). This activity aims to care for and remember the thoughts of Buya Syafii Maarif who is one of the nation’s teachers who has left many examples; The main focus is on how to harmonize aspects of Islam, aspects of Indonesianness (diversity), as well as aspects of universal humanity. Present as keynote speakers on this occasion were Prof. Dr. M. Amin Abdullah (Member of the BPIP Steering Committee and Professor of UIN Sunan Kalijaka Yogyakarta).
