Representing Habib Luthfi, Hasbullah Ahmad, Secretary of the Wantimpres Member, attended the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW and Akbat Recitation for the First Haul of R. Kusumodjati (Habib Husein Bin Thoha Bin Muhammad Bin Yahya) and Shaykh Imam As-Syadzily on Sunday, June 5, 2022 which coincided with in Ngawen, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta.
The activity was themed “A Strong Nation, A Nation That Can Respect Its Ancestors” in accordance with the message given by the Regent of Gunungkidul in his speech, Nationalism without history is empty. The Regent of Gunungkidul also expressed pride that in his area there is a place that is part of Indonesian history.
R. Kusumodjati (Habib Husein Bin Thoha Bin Muhammad Bin Yahya) is the Deputy Commander of the Mataram Kingdom. He was famous as a fighter who was persistent in fighting the invaders at that time and was able to unite the divisions that existed in Java.
In addition to the Secretary of the Wantimpres Member and the Regent of Gunungkidul, Alhabib Zaed Bin Yahya from Yemen was also present, community leaders and residents from various regions who were very enthusiastic about the activity. The activity ended with a pilgrimage to the tomb of R. Kusumodjati.
