Muhamad Mardiono, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres), accompanied by Secretary of the Wantimpres Member, Mohammed Ali Berawi and the Wantimpres Expert Team, received special staff from the Minister of Bappenas, Ervan Maksum and digital service providers, on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Wantimpres Office.
This meeting discussed the use of digital technology in economic sector activities. The digital technology carried out is aimed at strengthening the people’s economy and MSMEs in this case in the agriculture, fisheries and trade sectors. Efforts to use digital technology for both supply chains and economic transactions are carried out to increase the productivity and competitiveness of farmers, fishermen and traders.
Mardiono stated that support for the people’s economic sector and MSMEs as the backbone of the strength of the people’s economy through the use of digital technology so that it can be expanded and carried out sustainably. The use of digital technology is expected to be able to produce efficiency and effectiveness in the production process and economic transactions.
