Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, gave a speech at the opening of the Indonesian Culture-Based Fashion Show as well as the Art and Culture Night of Puteri Indonesia 2022 which was held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Gandaria City Mall, Jakarta. In her speech, Putri said that Indonesia is a country with a strong character and rich cultural background. The wealth of culture-based industries is believed to be able to become a leading sector that can not only encourage equity, but also play a strategic role as a strengthening and unifying nation. Putri also advised that the introduction and love of the nation’s culture, especially among the younger generation, is a very important movement which is expected to be a motor for character creation in the nation’s next generation through culture and creativity.
On this occasion, Putri also played an active role as a member of the Jury in the selection of the finalist for the Talented Putri Indonesia 2022 and the finalist for the Best Traditional Costume for Puteri Indonesia 2022. Another member of the Jury was the Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) for Tourism and Creative Economy, Triawan Munaf and Mega Angkasa, Kusuma Dewi, and Kusuma Anjani from the Puteri Indonesia Foundation.
