Habib Lutfi bin Yahya, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council received a visit from the Indonesian Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto at his residence, in Pekalongan City, Central Java, Tuesday (19/4).
On this occasion, Habib Luthfi conveyed the importance of involving the people as modern defense forces component. Likewise, the ulama in this country must play an active role in efforts to strengthen the nation’s ideology, so that Indonesia will become a strong country. “Because everyone plays their respective roles carefully, in order to build national defense,” said Habib Luthfi.
The meeting was also attended by the leaders of the Gerindra Party and a number of members of the Gerindra Party faction in the House of Representatives and the Regional People’s Representative Assembly of Central Java including the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.
