Indonesia has lost a national figure, Mr. Arifin Panigoro who died on Sunday, February 27, 2022.
He died at the age of 76 years while undergoing treatment at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, United States.
We have lost a national economic driving force figure who started his career since graduating from ITB and has become a pioneer in the economic world, which has created many jobs. As a multinational entrepreneur, he has contributed to the growth of our national economy.
He is also a reliable politician, and reformist activist figure. He also plays an important role in the prevention of Tuberculosis (TBC), which pioneered the TB-free Indonesia.
He has devoted himself to the nation and state, including when he was a Member of the DPR RI, and lattermost he received a mandate from the state to become a Member of the Presidential Advisory Council. He is always persistent in fighting for the existence of the nation and state for the benefit of the people.
Today we lost him. We pray that he will be accepted by God Almighty, Allah SWT. To the bereaved family, may they be given sincerity and fortitude. And to his children, hopefully they can continue his struggle.
