Members of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) Agung Laksono, Muhamad Mardiono, Sidarto Danusubroto, and Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani received the Board of the Indonesian Solar Module Manufacturers Association (APAMSI) on Monday, October 25th, 2021, at the Wantimpres Office.
Linus Andor Mulana Sijabat as the general chairman of APAMSI conveyed APAMSI’s commitment to the development of renewable energy and energy resistance in Indonesia. On this occasion APAMSI also conveyed several challenges in the solar energy development, especially solar modules in Indonesia. Some of these challenges include the small market and high imports of raw materials, thus limiting the potential for domestic investment growth in the solar module industry.
Wantimpres members appreciated APAMSI’s efforts and commitment in developing the solar energy industry, especially solar modules in Indonesia. It is hoped that APAMSI can promote socialization of the benefits and advantages of using solar modules not only to households but also to entrepreneurs and the industrial world, so that market penetration of solar modules can increase rapidly. The input from APAMSI in this meeting will be use by the Wantimpres as the material that will be submitted to the President as an effort to achieve the renewable energy mix target and realize energy resistance in Indonesia.
