Muhamad Mardiono Attends Civic Knowledge Dialogue of Religious Moderation

On Sunday, October 31, 2021, Muhamad Mardiono, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres), attended Civic Knowledge Dialogue of Religious Moderation to Create National Unity. This event is a collaboration of the Directorate General of Buddhist Community Guidance, Ministry of Religion with WALUBI, West Jakarta FKUB, Hemadhiro Mettavati Foundation, and BNPT.

In the dialogue event, Muhammad Mardiono urged the community to always maintain harmony. “Let’s preserve a harmonious relationship in the life of the nation and state,” he pursuaded. Religious moderation is important in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in this large and diverse country. Therefore, religious moderation must be maintained and cared for in the life of the nation and state.

The implementation of the Dialogue on National Insights of Religious Moderation to Create National Unity was also attended by the Governor of DKI Jakarta (virtually), the Mayor of West Jakarta represented by the Assistant for West Jakarta Administration, Dandim 0503 West Jakarta, West Jakarta Police Chief, Head of West Jakarta City Ministry of Religion, Bhikkhu Khanit Sannano and the members of the Sangha, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hemadhiro Mettavati Foundation, Chairman of the DPD Walubi of DKI Jakarta Province, Leaders of the Buddhist Council, Supervisors of Buddhist Teachers, and Buddhist Education Teachers throughout DKI Jakarta.
