Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, M. Luthfi Ali Yahya (Habib Luthfi) attended a recitation activity at Rotama Tasikmalaya on (15/02) in Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java. The activity was attended by the Deputy Regent of Tasikmalaya, Cecep Nurul Yakin along with the local government of Tasikmalaya Regency as well as the directors and employees of Rotama Tasikmalaya.

The rainy weather did not prevent local residents and employees from attending and participating in the activity enthusiastically. On that occasion Habib Luthfi said that in the atmosphere of the commemoration of the Isra ‘Mi’raj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Muslims should not forget the personal story of the Prophet who continues to spread benefits and goodness to all mankind. Habib Luthfi said, “The Prophet Muhammad SAW when he migrated to Medina, what was built were worship, educational, and economic facilities.

The spirit of Islam today must be channeled in applicable forms such as building agriculture, building education, and building technology and industry”. The effort to build the economy of the people in Nusantara had previously been practiced by the Nine Walis in the past by studying the Chinese and Indian economies which were then applied to Nusantara.

Finally, Habib Luthfi said that the proof of love for the country must be represented with a sense of pride in Indonesia. This sense of pride is also a form of maintaining national pride and gratitude for the gift of God Almighty in Indonesia’s extraordinary nature. (AB)
