Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, Muhamad Mardiono, stated that mass vaccination activities are an effort to increase public health resilience in the midst of the current pandemic. This was conveyed in response to the implementation of the second mass vaccination organized by PT Buana Centra Swakarsa (BCS Logistics) in collaboration with the Banten Provincial Health Office in Cilegon, Banten, on Monday, September 27th, 2021.
In this second mass vaccination event, there were more than 1,500 participants who participated from high school/vocational high school students (SMA/SMK), critical sector workers and the community in Cilegon. This mass vaccination is carried out as a support for the government’s program in breaking the chain of transmission of Covid-19 through the fulfillment of accelerated vaccination. Mardiono hopes that with the ongoing vaccinations and always being disciplined in implementing health protocols, it will be able to create herd immunity in the society as an effort to control the Covid-19 pandemic.
