On July 29, 2021, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council Sidarto Danusubroto, held a Limited Meeting with Indonesian Political Scientists through online conference. Present at the meeting, Professor of Political Science in Airlangga University, Ramlan Surbakti, Lecturer of Political Science in Gadjah Mada University Mada Sukmajati, Political Science Lecturer in Airlangga University Kris Nugroho, and Executive Director of the Election Syndicate for Democracy (SPD) August Mellaz. During the meeting, Members of the Wantimpres received evaluations and input from the scientists regarding the electoral system and the political system as an effort to strengthen democratic practices in Indonesia.
