Sidarto Danusubroto, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) was a speaker at the Discussion and Book Review of “From Jokowi to Pandemic” written by Eko Sulistyo on April 3, 2021. The event was held at the Mas Don Art Cultural House, Solo, Central Java, by applying the health protocol strictly. On this occasion, Sidarto appreciated the author for publishing a book containing a collection of essays on political and cultural themes. He considered that the book could be a reflection of the life of the nation and state. In addition to providing comments and input on the content of the book, Sidarto also shared his experiences when accompanying two Indonesian presidents, firstly as the adjutant of the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno, and secondly as President Joko Widodo’s Wantimpres. Regarding President Jokowi’s leadership, Sidarto underlined the massive development of infrastructure and human resource. President Jokowi is also considered to have given a fast and precise response in efforts to tackle Covid-19 through free mass vaccination program (QA/NM).
