Muhammad Luthfi Ali Yahya, member of the Presidential Advisory Council, was present and led the reciting of national pledge in the National Gathering Event, Maintaining Integrity in diversity which upholds peace and promotes development. This event was held by Jakarta Military Command (Kodam) Jaya and the Jakarta administration on 23 December 2020 in the Military Command Area.
In that event, Muhammad Lutfhi Ali Yahya conveyed that the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkompimda) of Jakarta and religious leaders have roles to maintain Indonesia’s integrity and unity. This meeting will strengthen the ties of Indonesian society.
Kodam Jaya Commander Maj. Gen. Dudung Abdurachman also stated that this event is aimed to maintain the unity of Bhineka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity). The Commander added that The Indonesian Military (TNI), the Regional Government, and the National Police is present in the community to tighten all national elements so that the people will feel at peace, at ease, and united towards the Indonesian onward goals.
In that event, Muhammad Luthfi Ali Yahya led the reciting of the National Pledge that followed by all audiences. The essence of pledge is to maintain the national unity and to weave religious harmony. Present at the meeting were Deputy Chief of Police of Metro Jaya Brigadier General Hendro Pandowo, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza, as well as representatives of religious leaders. (AM)
