On Tuesday, 6 October 2020, the Presidential Advisory Council held an online meeting with the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna H. Laoly. Under the theme of “Policies and Strategic Steps in the Field of Law and Human Rights during Covid-19 Pandemic” the meeting aims to discuss the Ministry of Law and Human Rights’ strategic efforts in resolving legal issues. The Ministry has actively participated in accommodating the aspirations and inputs from related stakeholders towards controversial legal issues. The Ministry also continues to innovate to break the chain of drug trafficking in and outside prisons and to streamline the monitoring of the immigration system in Indonesia. (AM)
