The Presidential Advisory Council held an online meeting with the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Wishnutama Kusubandio, on 19 August 2020 to discuss the Strategies to Recover the Tourism and Creative Industries in the midst of Covid-19 Pandemic. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy revealed three national policies for tourism management, namely crisis management and mitigation of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, accelerating recovery efforts through mentoring and building market confidence, increasing investment for tourism human resource development and strengthening the tourism industry and investment ecosystem. In the future, Indonesia’s tourism strategy will no longer pursue quantity aspects, but quality aspects, which could increase foreign exchange. (AM)
