Under the theme of ‘The Development of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) Policy Implementation’, the Presidential Advisory Council had invited the Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi and the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, to a meeting which was held on May 15, 2020. The Minister of Transportation in his presentation said that the Transportation Ministry had formed a task force of the Indonesian Military (TNI), National Police (Polri), regional governments, and transportation authorities to control, supervise and enforce transportation regulations in the regions. Meanwhile, the Minister of Home Affairs is taking steps to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 within the scope of local governments through the publication of a management manual book about the strategies of handling Covid-19.
