During a working visit to New Zealand on February 12, 2020, Sidarto Danusubroto and Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, Member of The Presidential Advisory Council, held several meetings with industries including SMEs. Several places visited were Taylor Preston’s halal slaughterhouse, the Food and Grocery Council (FGC), and Wellington on a Plate (WOAP). The delegation also held meeting with NZ Maori Tourism, Trade Aid, Business and Economic Research. Members of the Presidential Advisory Council also had a chance to observe New Zealand’s largest organic fruit plantation, John Bostock, where many Indonesian migrant workers work as seasonal fruit pickers and saw Maori’s culture.
