The issue of the global COVID-19 outbreak not only has an impact on human health and safety, but its impact in many sectors, such as in the Indonesia’s economic growth, tourism, manufacturing industry and the increasing prices of commodities, also the commodities supply chain.
In order to know the update of mitigation implementation effort, the synergy between ministries and strong coordination between subnational to control the COVID-19, and also the development COVID-19 vaccine research, the Presidential Advisory Council (WANTIMPRES) was held meeting at the Office of the Presidential Advisory Council on February 17, 2020. The resource persons were Dr. Navartnasamy Paranietharan, WHO Representative For Indonesia, Prof. Tjandra Yoga Aditama, Senior Advisor and Acting Director at WHO South-East Asia Region, Dr. Ahmad Yurianto, Secretary General Director of Disease Prevention and Control, Ministry of Health, and Prof. dr. Herawati Sudoyo, MD., Ph.D., Deputy for Fundamental Research, Eijkman Molecular Biology Institute.
