General (Ret.) Agum Gumelar, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council (WANTIMPRES) held a study meeting to discuss on “Culture as a Foundation of The Development of Pancasila Democracy in Indonesia” on February 26, 2019. Mr. Gumelar state and emphasized that culture must be in harmony with Pancasila. The importance of culture in building a nation is very basic since it involves the values of life that underlie the order of civilian lives. Pancasila should become something that needs to be contemplated in everyday life. It becomes very important because the understanding of Pancasila is not only adequate as a basis or identity, but also habitually as every day practices
