Mr. M. Yusuf Kartanegara, the Member of Presidential Advisory Council, led the declaration of social conflict countermeasures in the Karanganyar Regency Pendopo, Central Java, on Monday, May 7th 2018. The declaration was carried out at the Workshop on the Threat of Social Conflict for National Security conducted by the Faculty of Law of University of Pancasila in cooperate with the Regional Government of Karanganyar Regency. In the workshop, it was discussed to revive the Jagabaya (village security instrument formed from local wisdom), which is expected to early notice potential social conflicts in the community.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the State Intelligence Agency, the Faculty of Law of the Pancasila University Faculty of Law, academics, the Karanganyar Regency Government, and the military and police officers who served in Karanganyar Regency. In the future, it is expected that government officials, military and police officers, along with the public are able to maintain national security conditions in order to remain conducive and stable to guard the national development process in order to achieve national goals and actualize Indonesia’s national goals.
