The development of information technology, such as machine learning and big data analysis, makes data can be stored or processed for various purposes. However, this opens up opportunities for data utilization by some parties who do not have the authority or gain authority without consent or awareness of data owner/uploader. Based on this reasoning, Mr. M. Yusuf Kartanegara, the Member of Presidential Advisory Council, held a meeting on Development of Technology and Cybersecurity, on Wednesday, May 30th 2018.
Mrs. Sri Adiningsih, Chairwoman of the Presidential Advisory Council, and Mr. Jan Darmadi, the Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, joined the meeting and listened to the explanation from the speakers who are academics and digital technology experts in the field of defense and security. In the meeting, various information and policy alternatives were discussed to anticipate the impact of the development of cyber security and how to take benefits of cloud computing in Indonesia.
