Mr. M. Yusuf Kartanegara, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, together with the Research Team on “Optimizing the Countermeasures of Narcotics and Drug (Narkoba) Abuse to Create Conducive Security”, held a meeting on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Presidential Advisory Council Office. The meeting was attended by the Head of the National Narcotics Agency (Badan Narkotika Nasional), Deputy IV the National Intelligence Agency (Badan Intelijen Negara), and Mr. Asep Iriawan.
Narcotics and drug abuse are increasing and expose danger to public. Many efforts to overcome narcotics and drug abuse have been done but the expected results have not achieved yet. The meeting discussed feasible efforts and solution to overcome narcotics and drug, to optimize countermeasures to create conducive security in drug abuse handling. (DKP)
