Mr. M. Yusuf Kartanegara, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, conducted focussed discussion on “Digital Technology Development and Its Impact, in the field of Defense and Security in Indonesia “, at Presidential Advisory Council Office, on Monday, 16 April 2018. Mrs. Sri Adiningsih, the Chairwoman of Presidential Advisory Council, and Mr. Sidarto Danusubroto, Member of Presidential Advisory Council, attended the meeting among speakers from various fields.
The meeting was conducted to discuss the implication of the development of digital technology that influence the defense and security sectors, such as cyber security and defense technology development (including defense system tools and intelligence technology). The meeting was expected to discuss on the development of digital technologies that has significant impacts on Indonesia’s future on defense and security; strategic issues of defense and security that related to the development of digital technology; as well as the direction of policies and strategies to anticipate the impact of the development of digital technology in the field of defense and security in Indonesia.
