Presidential Advisory Council Member, Muhammad Luthfi Ali Yahya (Habib Luthfi), received a visit from President Joko Widodo at his residence in Pekalongan on Wednesday (13/12/23). During the visit, the President was accompanied by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, and the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (Panglima TNI) General Agus Subiyanto.
The visit to Habib Luthfi’s residence was carried out between several agenda items during the President’s working visit to Pekalongan and Solo. Prior to this, the President inspected rice planting in the Kesesi sub-district, Pekalongan Regency, attended a farming guidance event for farmers and agricultural instructors across Central Java at the Pekalongan Regency square and visited school facilities at SMKN 1 Kedungwuni, Pekalongan Regency.
Habib Luthfi warmly welcomed the President to his residence with a smile. They proceeded to a closed-door meeting in Habib Luthfi’s private room and continued with lunch together. After the meeting concluded, Habib Luthfi escorted the President to the car that would take him to the Pekalongan Post Office to deliver direct aid to the El Nino-affected communities.
