Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, a Member of the Presidential Advisory Council, received an audience from the economist and capital market practitioner, Dr. Lucky Bayu Purnomo, on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Wantimpres Office. During the meeting, Lucky presented his book titled ‘Becoming the World’s Oil King’ to Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani. Putri appreciated the written work, considering that the world oil prices have become a crucial aspect of economic governance in Indonesia and globally. Understanding the potential and trends of world oil prices allows for insight into the challenges, dynamics, and implications of oil price movements, which can be utilized for the maximum welfare of the people. This study is highly relevant to the efforts of President Joko Widodo’s administration in managing Indonesia’s natural resources, such as gold and nickel, through various policies, including downstream mining policies in Indonesia
