On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, representing Wantimpres Member, H.R. Agung Laksono, Ganjar Razuni, Secretary of Wantimpres Member accompanied by Laksda TNI (Ret.) Soleman B. Ponto, Head of Wantimpres Member Study Team led a Limited Meeting session II with the theme “Security Defense Policy Strategy for the Riau Islands Border Area” at the Presidential Advisory Council Office. Present as speakers were First Admiral Bakamla Bambang Irawan, Director of Sea Operations, Maritime Security Agency, Capt. Mugen S. Sartoto, Director of the Coast and Sea Guard Unit (KPLP), Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation, and Capt. Zainal A. Hasibuan, Chairman of Organization and Membership of DPP INSA representing the Chairman of DPP Indonesian National ShipOwners Association (INSA).
This meeting discussed the condition of sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia and law enforcement from the point of view of law enforcers, as well as the conditions faced by shipping transportation entrepreneurs in the territorial waters of Riau Islands Province.
