Muhamad Mardiono, Member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres), accompanied by Secretary of the Wantimpres Member, Mohammed Ali Berawi, Head of the Data and Information Bureau and the Wantimpres Expert Team, received the Committee of the Indonesian Market Traders Association (APPSI) represented by the General Chairman and central committee as well as leaders in region, on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 at the Presidential Advisory Council Office.
This meeting is a series of activities for Mardiono’s work visits that have been carried out so far as the efforts to strengthen the people’s economy and MSMEs. This meeting discussed efforts to increase the productivity of MSME traders and the competitiveness of traditional markets in the digital era in the midst of existing global market competition.
Mardiono stated that the support for traditional markets as the backbone of the people’s economic strength to improve people’s welfare and become an outlet for selling national products, must continue to be carried out in a sustainable manner.
