The Presidential Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia (Wantimpres RI) for the 2026–2029 term held its inaugural Plenary Session in Jakarta on Thursday, October 8, 2026, six days after its members were inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto.
Chaired by Pratikno, Chairman of Wantimpres RI, the session discussed the proposed division of responsibilities, working procedures, institutional agenda, and coordination mechanisms among members in preparing advice and consideration for the President.
“We have all been entrusted with an extraordinary and honorable responsibility to provide advice and consideration to the President, whether requested or not,” Pratikno said.
Through this inaugural Plenary Session, Wantimpres RI for the 2026–2029 term reaffirmed its commitment to drawing on the diverse expertise and experience of its members to provide sound, objective, and balanced input in addressing national challenges.
