Presidential Advisory Council Member, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, attended the opening of the Nusantara Crafts exhibition, Kriyanusa, on August 28, 2024, held at the Jakarta Convention Center. The Kriyanusa 2024 exhibition was inaugurated by the wife of the Vice President, Wury Ma’ruf Amin, accompanied by the head organizer of Kriyanusa 2024, Yanti Airlangga, wife of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy. This year’s exhibition theme is Young Artisans, Preserve Cultural Heritage.
As a national-scale craft exhibition, Kriyanusa not only serves as a platform to empower and preserve Nusantara crafts but also as a venue to promote the works of talented young artisans in Indonesia. Putri praised this exhibition as part of the larger framework for developing culture-based industries that support Indonesia’s tourism sector.
The Kriyanusa exhibition also involved many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which are the driving force of Indonesia’s people’s economy. Attendees had the opportunity to visit the Pertiwi Indonesia booth, focusing on empowering culture-based MSMEs, where Putri also serves as Chair of its Advisory Board. Also present at the Kriyanusa exhibition were members of OASE, Kabinet Indonesia Maju.
