Member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres), M. Mardiono accompanied by Secretary of Member of Presidential Advisory Council, Mohammed Ali Berawi, and Presidential Advisory Council’s Expert Team, received an audience from Angkatan Muda Kabah (AMK) on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Presidential Advisory Council’s office.
This meeting was held to discuss the importance of strengthening the people’s economy through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (UMKM) empowerment. Government’s support for UMKM development must be done continuously in order to achieve economic independence and community welfare.
The strength of today’s modern economy will rely on the excellence of human resources. Therefore, Muhamad Mardiono hopes that the younger generation can become the driving force of the people’s economy by producing products with added value and high competitiveness. Muhamad Mardiono also believes that the active role of the young generation in increasing entrepreneurship and creating new jobs will be able to increase Indonesia’s economic growth. To become economic actors, the young generation are encouraged to improve their abilities, creativity, innovation, and hard work in order to develop UMKM and improve the community’s economy. (Kar)
